Glimpses of God’s activity in Tijuana today:
1. Young leader Anita gave a workshop on the relationship between boyfriend and girlfriend….Despite nerves, she was bold knowing that God had called her to a special task. She memorized the entire booklet on “Noviazgo”….. She didn’t want to miss any part of the important message.
2. Young Job Jimenez gave the morning message. Since his father went to be with the Lord last year, he has taken over the pastoral duties for the main church in San Luis Rio Colorado, Sonora and the three missions. He is 17years old ! He was delighted when he received the Book of Concord (Libro de Concordia), The Summary of Christian Doctrine (Compendio de la Doctrina Cristiana) and Law and Gospel(Ley y Evangelio) and 10 issues of God News (Buenas Noticias) magazine.
3. Ines, Job’s sister, is preparing to begin a Catechism class this fall for the children at the lutheran mission in SL RC, Sonora. She was happy to take 10 copies of the Small Catechism (Catecismo Menor).
4. A new Christian band named, “Estandarte” shared the Message with the young people through their songs of worship and praise.
5. The kids went Roller Skating today and tonight they are having a BONFIRE!
