A group of university students and campus pastor Bill Steinbauer are in Tijuana this week supporting the mission and outreach programs in Tijuana. On Saturday, they supported Pastor Josue’s outreach Saturday morning breakfast program. There was play time, health check, dental clinic and bible stories. They did a great job. Pastor Bill also chopped a large, very heavy tree trunk that had to be moved from the front entrance of the church. Then we visited the Day Care Project that has also been funded by the Nebraska partners.

During the health check Amanda and I talked to three women of an extended family. Between the two sisters, they have three babies under the age of 15 months! We talked to them about baptizing the babies. Here the 16-year old mother is kissing her 17 day old infant. Please pray for this family, and the ministry of Lirio de los Valles Lutheran Church in Tijuana.
