This is what is planned for the month of April. Please keep us in your prayers.
Please pray for the dedication of our new office on April 6. God always gives us new opportunities for ministry which are sometimes “seen” only when other ministry doors are closed. We are grateful for the challenges that stretch us and force us to trust God more urgently especially as the road ahead remains unseen. We are excited as we once again “reinvent” our local ministry, this in our 10th year of ministry in Tijuana. Actually this is the 3rd total overhaul. In a border ministry, society sometimes changes so quickly, we are constantly surveying our surroundings and wondering how we should respond as a ministry. Ten years ago (even two years ago) kidnappings were not heard of in Tijuana. There have been 100 kidnappings over the last six months in Tijuana.
Please pray and give thanks for a new training program for Community Day Care Workers in Christian Education through CPTLN. We have been approved by the government to give a workshop for the nearly 100 community day care workers. These community day care centers work in the areas of most need throughout the city. The workers are most anxious to learn about how to teach the children who live sometimes in very desperate conditions.
Pray for the arrival of a volunteer child psychologist who will provide workshops and counseling sessions for community dare care centers located in remote areas where parents suffer from many challenges including poverty, violence and drug addiction. We are grateful for this wonderful volunteer who also works in China every year with parents and children there. She will be with us the week of April 12-20.
Pray also for the partnership with the Center for Hispanic Studies. CHS will be sending an intern deaconess who will assist in our ministry work in April also.
Pray as I prepare remarks to deliver as mission speaker at the LWML Kansas District Convention the 11-13 of April.
Pray for the upcoming evangelism and small group workshops CPTLN will be sponsoring in the month of April in Tijuana and the launching of a new series of small group (bible course) materials.
Please pray for supporters Shirley who will undergo breast cancer surgery next week and for Brad who is undergoing chemo. Pray for complete healing.
Thank you mission partners for your prayers, support, LOVE and friendship! Be BOLD in prayer!

Most Precious Heavenly Father,
You who delivered the children of Israel out of bondage and slavery, I humbly pray for deliverance of those kidnapped victims back to their families. I pray Dearest Lord and Savior to send your Holy Angels to protect them from all evil. I pray for a solution to solving the problems that arise in Tijuana . I fervently pray for the Holy Spirit to guide our missionaries working with border ministry, give them wisdom and patience as we wait on your deliverance. Let the Holy Spirit enlighten the trainers who will be training the Community Day Care Workers in Christian Education.
And we know that to them that love God all things work together for good, even to them that are called according to his purpose.-Romans 8:28
I give you praise and thanks for the financial support provided by CPTLN and for this new program approved by the government. Move the hearts of our Lutheran Church communities to open our eyes to the most desperate need of children who live in poverty and very desperate conditions.
I pray for the volunteer child psychologist who will be providing workshops and counseling sessions in the community day care centers which are located in remote areas. I Pray Heavenly Father for the families who suffer from poverty, violence and drug addiction. Bring them healing Lord, may they find peace in the knowledge that you alone are the answer to the hurt.
I pray Dearest Lord for the continued partnership with the Center For Hispanic Studies, may the Holy Spirit enlighten the intern deaconess who will be working in this mission ministry at the border with the gifts of the Gospel to share with everyone she touches. Protect her Lord and keep her safe from all harm and danger as she does your will.
Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.
-Mathew 5:16
I especially pray Precious Savior for my Dearest Friend Melissa, give her an extra measure of the Holy Spirit as she travels to the Kansas LWML Convention to touch the hearts of the LWML in Kansas. I give you these words of courage, they will give you strength.
Feed the flock of God which is among you, taking the oversight thereof, not by constraint, but willingly; not for filthy lucre, but of a ready mind; Neither as being lords over God’s heritage, but being examples to the flock.
-1 Peter 5:2-3
…but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.
-Isaiah 40:31
God has said, ‘Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you.’”
-Hebrews 13:5
I lift up mine eyes to the hills from whence comes my
help. My help comes from the Lord, the maker of Heaven and earth.
-Psalm 121:1-
I can do everything through him who gives me strength.
-Philippians 4:13
The Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make his face shine upon you and be gracious to you; the Lord turn his face toward you and give you peace.
-Numbers 6:24……Amen
