Day Care Metal Doors go up……

This is the lower level security doors going up this week.  It changes the look of everything. Whoooo-hooooo!
This is the new Lutheran Community Center/Day Care going up that will be a learning center, community day care, and after school center in the neighborhood of 3 de octubre.

Proyecto JOEL at the open market with a new booth

Finally the Proyecto JOEL unveiled their new “booth”…….look at the cool graphics they used for the PJ (proyecto Joel) booth.  They have items of interest to youth, Christian literature of interest to youth and are selling the donated tshirts at $10 pesos ($1Us dlls)……It provides something useful to the community for almost nothing and more [...]

Undie Sunday distribution

Among our elder groups were underwear distribution from the Undie Sunday effort in the PSWD. Our volunteer staff opened the packages so we could distribute 2 pairs of underwear , plus a t-shirt rolled up in a package with yarn. They were delighted. An upcoming distribution will be at a presentation to 38 single mothers [...]

New Volunteers for Elder Care

Our elder groups are growing with new volunteers. These chemists are administering diabetes and cholesterol tests free of charge to the elders. Here too is our volunteer farmacist who distributes donated medicine.
