Each year we “tour” community day care centers with our Christmas story. This year we were sharing the VHS of “Misterio Navideno”. (the Christmas mystery) Today was the kick off of our tour.
We visited “D*** N***” day care center. We work closely with the coordinator here not only in support of her day care but also collaborate with her elder group. We had some stuffed animals from the last visit of Ellie Menz and the IOWAY group from Iowa West.
We offered counseling to a 37 year old woman named E****. All of her brothers are drug users and dealers and she had been a user for 13 years. Her 12 year old daughter left home because her home life was so bad. E*** says that she doesn’t know much about God but she knows that He helped her but it was not possible for her to leave the life of drugs. She is recuperated her daughter who is now 17 years old. E*** wants to learn more about God. She was so happy to receive our booklet called (Where is God) “Donde Esta Dios”. She wants Tere to bring her a Bible Course next week. Her face lit up when we told her we could help her learn about the God that rescued her from the dark pit of drugs.
