This week on 60 minutes there was an expose on the situation on the border in Mexico. So much is shocking: not only the beheadings, the lawlessness and evil but that the drug trade brings in 38 BILLION dollars FROM THE US!
Pastor Lutz, one of the pastors who collaborates with us and serves those leaders in Tijuana by teaching workshops on various topics and has become a pastoral counselor and mentor for many of us, has this to say:

I just watched the 60 minutes “Mexico’s Drug War” program on computer – CBS.com. The title needs to be revised to the U.S./Mexico Drug War. Maybe Canada needs to look at this also.
From a Biblical perspective, this is a clear example of the Kingdom of Satan battling for control of nations and from that platform of control he can strike powerful blows against the Church of Jesus Christ. We can expect more restrictions on spreading the Gospel, more loss of facilities and resources and even some lives. Jesus said that there would always be wars – this is a war that is a little different in shape than the traditional battlefields and weapons. But CBS is correct labeling this a war.
