I attended the Southern California Lutheran Laymen´s League District Meeting. It was a good time of fellowship and of hearing about the ministries going on through Lutheran Hour. I gave a 10 minute presentation that I don´t think took 10 minutes! The District has renewed its commitment to help with the rent of the Tijuana office which is $300 per month. Thank you!
I enjoyed hearing the story of Vicar Jun Takagi talk about hearing the Lutheran Hour in his native Japan when he was a boy. When we hear the stories we see the working of the Holy Spirit. I asked for prayer support also for the ending of violence, drug trace and the Swine Flu threat in Tijuana.
