LWML Mission Partners
Thank you ladies of the LWML for your prayers and support of mission south of the Border. The LWML PSWD approved a project to underwrite several thousand outreach booklets which discuss topics of high impact from the Christian perspective and share the Gospel message.
These booklets are being used in outreach ministry through many outreach projects throughout the border but mostly in the large and growing city of Tijuana, B.C. Mexico in many communities, through the government partners in Tijuana and through local churches. They have a multiplying effect too because a booklet is shared with sometimes 4 or 5 readers over several months time.
Just recently, a medical doctor told an amazing story of how she used a booklet to share the message of God’s love with someone who was living a very dangerous lifestyle. That person took home the booklets and returned to tell her that God had communicated a very important message to this person. Because of the atmosphere of violence in Tijuana and for security reasons, I cannot share the details on this public blog.
